Privacy Policy
1. Data we collect
None. Tilawaty does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data. The app requires no account, no email address and no advertising identifier.
2. Data stored on your device
Your reading progress, bookmarks and notes, daily goal, streak, and settings (theme, language, reciter, tracking mode, layout) are stored locally on your phone. They never leave your device unless you export a backup yourself.
3. Third-party services
For recitation, audio is streamed verse by verse from everyayah.com. When you turn on translation, the text is loaded from a public translation service. Like any web request, these expose your IP address to the server involved; no personal information is attached.
4. Notifications
The daily reminder is a local notification scheduled on your device. It goes through no server. You can turn it off in Settings → Goals.
5. Microphone and permissions
On Android, some audio permissions are declared by the playback library. Tilawaty only plays audio and never records your voice.
6. Backups
An exported backup file contains your progress, settings and bookmarks. It is shared only with the app or service you choose.
7. Children
Because Tilawaty collects no data, the app can be used by everyone, including children.
8. Deletion
Settings → Reset the app erases all local data. Deleting the app has the same effect.
9. Changes and contact
